Description

This is a Vintage Hand Woven Traditional African Zulu Basket with Lid, measuring
9-1/2' H with lid or 7' without lid x 6-1/2" across. It weighs approx 1 lb 2 oz.
The Zulu are skillful weavers and
make some of the best baskets anywhere.  The
baskets are solid, sturdy and made to
last.  The weave is tight which makes it more,
valuable,
does not loosen with
normal use and the lid fits snugly.
No two baskets are ever the same and they are a lovely range of muted earth tones
made from using natural fibers.  Great for storage but also a wonderful piece of art work.
