    Description

VERY RARE, NY POLICE GLEE CLUB, MINSTREL SHOW AND RECEPTION, 1923
Please see photos. I am over 70 and selling all of my books and postcards. I am not an expert, collector or grader.
NY POLICE GLEE CLUB, MINSTREL SHOW AND RECEPTION, 1923.
A superb program of the Minstrel Show and Reception at Hunts Point Palace, Prospect Hall and New Star Casino. Also has a page devoted to the Commissioner (Richard E. Enright), with a picture of his home in Stueben County, NY. List of members, program, order of dance, officers, committees and pictures of the glee club. “United Catholic Charities Drive, 1923, Do Your Bit”. His Grace Archbishop Patrick J Hayes. 1923 publication.
Condition: Very lightly used and in good antique condition. Has small number of brown spots (foxing) thought to be caused by impurities in paper (e.g.: acid, exposure to humidity, etc., foxing is more likely to be encountered in older books). Unmarked except the rear cover has a pencil mark. Softbound, in good condition. Edges have slight wear and rubbing from use. In good condition for a 98 year old book. Binding is very sound. 11 1/8 x 8 1/8 x 1/16”, 12 pages.
Please keep in mind that this is a used book that is well over 98 years old and spent many years in storage. Great resource for the study of New York history.
