I bought this pool pump on Sept 1, 2022, for 4.99 + tax.  I got it several days later and installed it using pipe thread dope like I have done with my past 4 pumps.  This pump claims to be 1 1/2 Hp., but it has the power of maybe a 1Hp. pump.  It would move my Barracuda for about 20 seconds, and then the smallest leaf stopped it.  Tech Gary at PoolSupplies.Com claims it was not installed properly, so I am stuck with it.  I just put in a Hayward pump, installing it the same way, and everything works great. It cost more money, but I don't have to stop and check on the Barracuda every 10 minutes.
This Chinese pump CAN CIRCULATE WATER ONLY., so if this is all you need, you can have this pump for .  I prefer local pickup from the Tampa, Florida area.  I am afraid if I ship it somewhere, and you are not happy, I will get stuck with more shipping charges.
