This offering is for an elongated 90% silver DIME similar to the one pictured. These were rolled on various silver Roosevelt dimes dated between 1946 and 1964. Not quite sure but I believe Lutchman did these silver ones as a favor to Sally Kirka. The backs of these dimes are numbered. I thick only I have the remaining quantity of these silver dimes. I have never found a photo dime on a clad dime. Really quite a nice image. Lutchman was a pioneer in photo elongates.

    Condition:
As rolled, pictured and described. While I endeavor to remove or make note of the ones in poor condition, an occasional elongate with a carbon spot or two cannot be ruled out. Most of the backs were coated with shoe polish to preserve the actual obverse of the coin, but once in a while, an elongated with a blank back fell into the hopper.
    About my elongated coin offerings:
I am not a "roller", I do not sell re-rolls. These are from a collection I purchased from the family of a former TEC president. They are original vintage coins rolled many years ago by the original designer, (sometimes engraver), and roller. Many of these rollers were Charter members of The Elongated Collectors (TEC) originally formed in 1966. Most of these members no longer produced elongated issues after 1991. Most of their dies are closed and canceled. When these are gone they are gone forever.
